James Herriot became famous throughout the world for his books that captured
the essence of life in England's Yorkshire Dales in the 1930's & 40's.
This fabulous lifelike figurine 'Sweet Dreams' brings to life the humour & characters
from the tales of Britain's favourite vet. 'As usual, Alfred appeared to be taking an
interest in the daily activities in Geoff's sweet shop, his expression implied he almost
had an understanding of the proceedings and, now and then, a customer would
stroke his cheek and he would respond with a booming purr.'
