-Those of you who know me will know what a special place the West's most famous cowboy holds in my heart. He's the character I grew up with, the one who gave me a desire for drawing and comics. So I've been wanting to sculpt him for a long time!
Known for the extreme speed with which he draws his Colt, I wanted his posture to capture that brief moment when suppleness, agility and precision meet. After all, he's the only one capable of disarming the four Daltons, while quietly lighting his cigarette with apparent casualness... but make no mistake: Lucky Luke certainly doesn't take his role as vigilante lying down! - Eric Delaval
